We at Mayfield Valley Violins care about the service we provide to our customers. We ensure all instruments bought through Mayfield Valley Violins have undergone professional setup. Our aim is to provide the fine and the most suitable instruments to our customers and to build a long term relationship with each customer. 

We offer free assessment service for repairs and restorations for all the instruments that are bought from us. Once we have assessed your instrument we will contact you within 48 hours with our recommendation and estimate. Bow assessments may take longer. 

A new string instrment may need a period of settling in and it may need adjustment to the setup and in particular tonal adjustment. Our experienced luthier can make the tonal adjustment by carefully moving the position of the soundpost, possibly adjusting the curve and height of the bridge and working with the player to achieve a sound and set up that is happy with.
